Tacos in TJ.

Tacos in TJ.

Tacos, tequila, and a two-hour foot queue back to the U.S.—you know, just classic art inspiration stuff.

This painting was born from one muy memorable day in Tijuana: rooftop margaritas (strong enough to question reality), the best tacos I’ve ever eaten (shoutout to the chefs—legends), and one long, sweaty border wait with Wille and half of Mexico.

I painted this piece with acrylics and a little leftover lime salt in my soul. It’s loud, it’s colorful, and it smells like grilled meat and good memories.
